首先是节约用水。我家每次用淘过米的水浇花;洗衣服的水用来拖地、冲马桶;洗脸水用来洗脚、之后用来冲马桶;还有在马桶的冲水槽里面放了两个盛满水的矿泉水瓶子，以减少马桶的冲水量。还有做到人走水停，随时关闭水龙头。
其次是节约用电。我家的灯都是节能灯;天气不是太热就不开风扇或者空调，即便是开空调也尽量高开一度。晚上只要写完作业，就尽量出去走走，既健身，又省电(不用开电视，更不用开灯)。
还有一点是节省汽油。我家虽然也算有车一族了，但低碳环保还不能丢。在我的倡议下，我们一家人达成了以下协议：路程很近就步行;路程不长不短就骑自行车或电动车;路程很远才能开车。这样我们每天就都能闻到只有农村才可能有的小树林的味道了。
地球是我们的家园，也是唯一的家园，每个人都有保护自己家园的责任和义务，让我们携起手来，一起为低碳生活而努力吧!
